Hi, my name is Eva, and my partner in travel is Brad. We started our travels with our beautiful little fur kid Milo, but sadly he passed away on the 10th December 2013. He was so very loved by both of us, and is forever in our hearts. After he passed, our lives changed so very much, and we lost our way, you could say. We did lose interest in traveling, and everything seemed to be different. But now, after a fair bit of time passing by, we feel like we can move on, and start the next chapter of our lives, but sadly without our beloved Milo. He will never be forgotten, and he actually still travels with us. We had him cremated, and his ashes kept in a huggable urn. So, if your new to our blog please have a read through our page ‘When We Started Our Journey’ as this page was the original ‘Welcome To Our Blog’ page.
So, as 3 1/2 years have now passed, there have been some changes in our lives. On 10th April 2013, my son Bradley was proud to announce the birth of daughter Keira Lee, who is 2 yrs old now. This makes me a Nanni for the third time!!! Bradley’s other child, Cameron James is now 5, and my daughter Annalee’s baby girl Marlee Jean is a big 4 yrs old. How they are growing up so fast 🙂
I still love to read e books on my Kobo, but I also love playing games on my tablet. How addictive those games can be!!! I’m also still doing the bookkeeping remotely for AILDM (The Australian Institute of Landscape Designers & Managers). I have obtained my Cert IV Financial Services (Bookkeeping), and enjoy doing the work for the association. Brad has done many things throughout his life, auto electrician, owned an Auto Pro store, bus driver, and Administrator for an association. He has also completed many of the repairs that the caravan has needed, major & minor.
When we started our ‘journey’ all those years ago, we towed around our Lotus Sprint LE 21 1/2 foot long with ensuite bathroom and cafe seating with a Mitsubishi Triton Twin Cab Ute. Now, we still tow the same caravan, but with the king of the road, Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series. Towing is so much easier, and way more comfortable, but the bank account wasn’t too happy. Maybe we will pick up some work along the way….who knows….just go with the flow…..
Well, that’s us in a nutshell…..feel free to have a look around, read our adventures, and drop us a line to say ‘HI’
Brad & Eva 🙂
